The Life and Times Tour

The Life and Times Tour stop in Joliet, IL at MoJoe's was beyond awesome and more than just a show. The artists consisted of Rittz, Snow Tha Product, and Jarren Benton. Every element of a very well put together event and good polished artists' existed in every performer.  Every artist had a booth with a line of people waiting to purchase merchandise, get autographs and photos. The concert was exceptional, and every song they each chose to perform had great energy and was perfect for the occasion. The club was wall to wall jammed packed, full of fans and fun and a definite enjoyment.

Jarren Benton of Decatur, Georgia, signed to Funk Volume had a demanding aura with the mic in his hand. He made you pay attention and listen to what he had to say. His unique rhyme pattern set him aside from your average rapper while his word play put him on a pedestal, setting the bar high. Control, he had it and used it well. He gave himself to us and, still carrying that I don't give a F*** attitude, let's just have fun. He is no stranger or new comer. He has been doing music since the age of 6 and is more than a rapper, and also produces. He does his job well, with ease and without mistake. He demonstrates the purity of true conscious Hip Hop and delivers more than you would expect if you didn't already know what was coming. His weapon of choice, should be his mouth, because he surely killed. His performance was quite entertaining, especially when he put the spotlight on Kato The Producer to do  "his dance."

Snow Tha Product, of San Jose, California, signed to Atlantic Records, exhibited leadership in her stage presence, but more so in her words and reasoning. While easy on the eye, her voice is captivating.  She had the attention of every person in the room before she even began rapping, but when she did....you were Snowmatized. Her flow is impeccable, and YES, we believe she can go toe to toe with any man. "I don't have to be naked to be heard, in this male dominated industry" says Snow Tha Product, and she was right. If you were sleep before, you are surely WOKE now. As an addition to her performance, Nay Nay the Dancer kept the crowd hyped with her crazy moves and energy. To top it off, Snow allowed the her favorite cuddle buddy, Money Bear, whom she sewed herself, to get acquainted with her fans, and a hater in the audience ripped his head off. Why did he do that? Snow jumped off the stage and was ready for whatever was to come next, showing and proving "I ain't no B****" in her words. The rough side was in full effect through actions and not only lyrics. Needless to say, the guy was thrown out of the club, leaving behind his "FUBU" shoe he was knocked out of, and of course, the show went on. Throughout her performance, she gave away free merchandise and showed mad love to Chicago's own, West Wing Entertainment, whom came deep, leaving a major presence, to support a long time friend and femcee favorite.

Rittz, the White Jesus,  of Gwinnett County, Georgia, whom signed to Strange Music left no questions why he was the headliner. The southern rapper brought soul and rap together, with a lil bit of church in it, making you feel right at home and comfy, while in other words making a statement,  I've been where you are, I'm just like you. He demonstrated a melodic spit, incomparable to any other. In every line, through tone, pitch and lyrical content, you felt where it originated from in his creative spirit. I agree, F*** Swag, be comfortable being you. He connected with you on a more personal level with his southern hospitality, leaving you to think deeply about his message. Though he has had much success, he has not forgotten his trying times and struggles, and proudly pays homage to the man who helped create his career accomplishments, Yelawolf.

These artists embodied perfection, and humbleness, and in my opinion, are all great people to learn from. Support the tour and treat yourself to the last few stops.
A fan, we are, and we will keep them under The Redd Radar.
